Scott Hamersly

 

Scott has been working in the financial industry for over four decades. Scott is a second generation financial planner who started his career with the ambition to help clients meet their goals in retirement, something that he is still passionate about. Helping clients reach financial security and working with them to make life decisions is one of Scott's skills and why he loves his job. The world is always changing and Scott's mission is to provide an educated, achievable, and creative approach to helping clients manage their finances.

Scott is also passionate about the enviornment and the local community. He has coordinated SOLV river cleanups, served as the President of the Friends of the Clackamas River, participated on the boards of several non-profit organizations such as the Western Oregon University Foundation, and served as the President of the Clackamas Community College Foundation. Scott is currently inolved in the Willamette Falls Legacy Porject volunteering for the campaign cabinet of Willamette Falls Trust 501C3.

Over his career Scott has been interviewed and quoted in the Oregonian and Wall Street Journal. He has hosted a financial radio program on KBNP 1410 and has presented at investment seminars and local schools. He attributes his success to a dedicated work ethic, integrity, and the enjoyment of the results of working with wonderful clients.

In his free time Scott enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and making wine with his friends and Oregon grapes.
